From Jaquet Droz’s Charming Bird to Bulgari’s Lycea Giardino Paradiso and Chanel’s Mademoiselle Prive, the bird is taking centre stage in this year’s watch novelties. Burgundy and blue seem to be the favoured hues, and dainty dials are all on trend. For jewellery, diamonds still top our favourite pieces. And this year, they’re a lot bigger, bolder, and more intricate ― just the way we like them.
