FIVE REASONS TO GO TO THE SINGAPORE JEWELLERY & GEM FAIR

Marina Bay Sands Expo and Convention Centre will once again host the fourth Singapore Jewellery & Gem Fair. Starting this Friday through to next Monday (4 — 7 November 2016), the show will see over 100 jewellery exhibitors showcase exclusive pieces for all jewellery lovers. Here are five reasons why you should head to the fair this weekend.

1. Local Singapore jewellers
Mr Ho Nai Chuen, President of Singapore Jewellers Association, announced at the media preview yesterday that more than 30 unique local Singapore jewellers will be participating. This includes local Peranakan brand, Foundation Jewellers and vintage jewels, Revival Vintage Jewels & Objects who will be displaying pieces that hold rich culture, tradition and history.

2. Made In Italy
International brands from Italy are also introduced under Oro D’Italia, a multi-brand retail platform. Launched exclusively at the show for the first time, the multi-brand will introduce established Italian brands including Verdi Gioelli (image opener), Massimo Ripa and Todini.

3. Singapore Jewellery Design Award
Catch the award ceremony on the first day of the fair at 11.30am or view the award winning pieces that were manufactured by Lee Hwa Jewellery.

 

4. Fashion Show
The organisers have prepared a special lineup for visitors which includes a model runway show that would feature the most beautiful masterpieces on Friday, 3pm.

 

5. Gemstone Assessments and Workshops
Visitors can also approach gemmologists who will be in attendance to get assessment of their own pieces or attend workshops that covers on unusual facts of various gemstones.
