What happens when high heels meet high jewellery? A fabulous collaboration ensues. Luxury footwear brand Aquazzura recently launched a capsule collection co-designed by five fine jewellery designers, one of which was Parisian jeweller Anissa Kermiche.
Perfect for a romantic Valentine’s date, Kermiche’s take on the sexy Aquazzura shoe stays true to her aesthetic, both as an engineer and a jewellery designer: curvy, chic, and chock-full of fun. The So Anissa heel features a sculptural stack of gold hoops, each cradling a pearl — reminiscent of one of the designer’s signature earrings, the Rondeur Triple. The sleek, black leather shines in contrast, capping off a sexy yet elegant stride.
“Designing shoes was a dream I hadn’t explored yet,” shares Kermiche. “Working with Edgardo Osorio, whom I admired and followed for many years, was a chance of a lifetime.”
