Luxury timepiece brand, Audemars Piguet hosted an exclusive VIP party last Wednesday, 23 March 2016 in the heart of Hong Kong to celebrate the unveiling of their new lounge for Art Basel Hong Kong 2016.
Held at Duddell’s in Central, Hong Kong, 600 guests including renowned actress Sandra Ng, were in attendance to celebrate the joyous occasion. Audemars Piguet’s Vice-Chairman of the Board of Directors, Olivier Audemars explained that the new concept by Sebastian Errzuriz was inspired by ice formations and snowy winters of Le Brassus, the brand’s base in the Swiss Vallée de Joux.
At the fair, the brand introduced Sun Xun as the second artist for the Audemars Piguet Art Commission. She will be working alongside Ruijun Shen, the second guest curator of the brand’s Art Commission and unveiling their work at the next major event, Art Basel in Miami Beach 2016.
Art Basel in Hong Kong also saw the launch of The Art Projects of Audemars Piguet 2013-2015, a 115-page book that follows the company’s continuous engagement with contemporary art. www.audemarspiguet.com
