Blancpain sets the tone for this year’s BaselWorld with four new models. The latest additions to their classic collections, these models have stepped the game up with various unique features that make each individual timepiece stand out.
The 60th Anniversary 2016 Ladybird Ultraplate Ref. 0063E-1954-55A – Women’s Collection
This self-winding Ultra-slim Ladybird has a mother-of-pearl dial set with diamonds on 18k white gold.
Bathyscaphe Ref. 5000-0240-O52A from the FIfty Fathoms Collection
The three-hand model dive timepiece now comes with a unidirectional satin-brushed Plasma grey ceramic bezel with blue ceramic insert. It also features Liquidmetal® hourmarkers to help avoid distortions.
The Great Wave – Métiers d’Art – Villeret Collection
Inspired by the motions of the sea, Blancpain’s Métiers d’Art studio created a timepiece using a gemstone, Mexican silver obsidian, for the first time. The gemstone is a semi-transparent volcanic rock, producing a myserious silvery shade. It is used to serve as base for the The Great Wave white gold applique. The Manufacture uses one of their favourite techniques, the Japanese rokusho patina, to create this marvelous timepiece.
Quantième Annuel GMT Steel Ref. 6670-1127-55B – Villeret Collection
Blancpain introduces this watch in stainless steel case for the first time. The dual-time display timepiece features a classic yet, contemporary look with its white dial and black leather strap combination, perfect for both business and leisure occasions.
