BULGARI X SAVE THE CHILDREN

A collaboration that commenced in 2009 between the Italian jewellery brand and one of the world’s leading independent organisation for children, Save the Children, Bulgari is once again committed to a new initiative, continuously raising awareness about the importance of children’s education.

Unveiling the new sterling silver and black ceramic bracelet, this accessory is a new addition to the exclusive Save the Children collection that has been successful over the years. All sales from this collection have gone to the organisation, raising almost US$42 million to date. The donations are distributed to 29 different countries across five continents. It includes areas where natural disasters, wars or conflict, marginalisation, disability and poverty can be the cause of the lack of education.

In addition to the brand’s contributions and commitment to the organisation, celebrity ambassadors Singaporean actress Jeanette Aw, Malaysian actress-producer Debbie Goh, Thai DJ-entrepreneur Hattaya Wongkrachang, and Pham Huong, Miss Universe Vietnam 2015 have travelled to the Dien Bien Province of Vietnam to visit children who were from minority backgrounds and were uneducated.

The luxury brand and Save the Children are collaborating again to launch a bilingual educational program in Vietnam to assist ethnic minority children and their teachers. This would help improve communication between teachers and second-language students and, their learning environment as a whole.
