Bigger and better may be a little too cliché in this fast paced generation. The pioneers of the J12 timepiece collection was first launched in 2000 and has since evolved over the years.
Chanel Fine Jewellery announced its latest addition, the J12. XS collection, a few days ago. Doing what they do best at the fashion house, the brand took the iconic J12 timepiece, reduced its size and turned it into a fashion statement. The collection features timepieces that are worn as a high fashion jewellery accessory. From large and small hand-embroidered cuffs with sequins, glass beads and sparkling diamonds to long fitting gloves, these hand accessories have a 19mm J12 timepiece attached. These pieces are products of Chanel Fine Jewellery’s collaboration with Maison Lesage and Maison Causse.
A highlight of the collection, and SolitaireLuxe’s favourite (image opener) is the J12. XS watch high jewellery ring. It features a flange-set with baguette-cut diamonds on 18k white gold with black ‘high-tech’ ceramic and black onyx dial.
