Vintage jewellery and watches – and the passion for collecting them – were brought to the fore at the first VO Vintage event at Vicenzaoro
Exhibitors displayed their vintage best
The first VO Vintage showcase was held from 18 to 20 January at Vicenzaoro and turned out to be a winner with its formula: Open to a select group of public attendees; a contemporary style of explaining the past; and informative, in-depth moments with the sector’s elite. With all these elements together, it was a successful event that shone a light on the growing interest in both vintage jewellery and watches.

The event brought together a selection of 30 leading exhibitors who presented and exchanged the most unique and valuable pieces from their collections. Another highlight of the event was the VO Vintage Talk, “In Search of the Holy Grail of Collecting”, which was a dialogue between Michele Mengoli, one of Italy’s top horology experts, and Sandro Fratini, one of the most famous vintage watch collectors in the world, with a patrimony of more than 2,000 pieces for an overall value of about one billion Euros.
