The collection, with its iconic spinning rings, has always embodied the brand’s lighter, playful side. One of the videos on Piaget’s website, for instance, intersperses shots of spinning Possession rings with scenes of moving carousels, Ferris wheels, vinyl records, and a mother and daughter dancing in a circle. “Turn and the world is yours,” it invites viewers. The latest designs in the collection stay true to the spirit of Possession. Pink gold bangles are set with diamonds and accentuated with coloured-stone cabochons. One can choose green malachite, red carnelian, bright turquoise, intense black onyx, or deep blue lapis lazuli — and, of course, mix and match the bangles on a whim. When in the mood for more sparkle, one can opt for a pink gold bangle that eschews the coloured stones and comes instead with more than a thousand diamonds.
