Simone Jewels recently showcased its much-awaited new collection, Birds in Poetry, to select media and friends of the brand. The collection highlights beautifully handcrafted pieces inspired by birds, which symbolise the beauty of “Love, Hope and Joy”. Simone Ng, the brand’s founder and designer, drew inspiration from the classical works of poets such as William Shakespeare, John Keats, and Percy Bysshe Shelley.

The collection’s star pieces are three pendants inspired by book of poetry. Each pendant appears as a miniature book which cover is encrusted with a red rubelite tourmaline, a rare Paraiba blue tourmaline, and a mint green tourmaline. Flip over the cover to find a beautiful relief carving depicting the themes of love, hope and joy. A major launch of the collection will be held in July, which is expected to unveil more than a hundred one-of-a-kind pieces from the bespoke jeweller.
